Walnut Dining Table

Inspired by a table design they saw overseas, our customer wanted a bespoke dark table featuring deep chamfered angles.

Relm was approached by a customer via handkrafted to create a custom dining table. We proposed using American Walnut, and presented a few design options for them to approve.

Deep chamfers on the underside of the table and the table base were carefully hand cut with a circular saw and an intricate jig. They were then finished with a belt sander to the right thickness.

The American Walnut machined really nicely and provided a rich texture full of figure and amazing colour.

 Due to the thin and fragile edges, we decided to careful crate and pack the table for delivery.
