Refund policy
Relm Furniture (Relm) is a small company. Our focus is on quality in design, materials and workmanship. All items are made in small batches. We use natural timber species in our products which is subject to variation and minor defects.
If you are not happy with your order
If you are not happy with your order in any way, please contact us at info@relm.com.au within 14 days of delivery to discuss if you are eligible for a repair or replacement.
Refunds
Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds for change of mind. Should you receive an item that is faulty or damaged, please contact us immediately by emailing info@relm.com.au Return of furniture items or international orders is at the cost of the customer. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Damages and issues
All furniture products must be inspected and signed for on delivery. Any damage must be noted on the delivery note provided by our delivery team. Please notify info@relm.com.au of any damages within 24 hours. We cannot take responsibility for any damage raised outside of the time period specified above.
Major and minor defects
If your product has a major defect (such as a structural fault) or a minor defect (such as dents or scratches) we may be able to provide a repair or replacement. To request a repair or replacement, please provide photos, together with a brief explanation of the issue via email at info@relm.com.au. Once we have had a chance to review your issue, we will contact you within 2-7 days to discuss the best outcome for your situation. This may involve returning the item to our workshop for repair, or replacing the item with a new one.
THINGS TO NOTE PRIOR TO PURCHASE
Natural timber features
Our products are made from natural timber, and often sourced from different trees. This can result in different wood grains, defects, splits, knots and other characteristics of raw natural timber. Please consider this before you purchase as we do not accept refunds or returns because a knot isn't where you would like it to be. If you have any concerns, please contact us prior to purchase to discuss.
Product finishes
We are constantly honing our product finishes to provide the best quality products. Note that our standard finishes may not align with finishes of other manufacturers (such as custom flooring purchased from international manufacturers). We can provide custom staining, however this comes at a fee and must be discussed with us prior to ordering.
